Bullwhip Hot Honey with Crispy Goat Cheese Bites

Bullwhip Hot Sauce
This mouth-watering appetizer uses our flavorful Bullwhip Hot Sauce and sweet honey to make the perfect sauce to pair with crispy, tart goat cheese bites.
Ingredients
Goat Cheese Bites
- 1 log (10 oz.) goat cheese
- 1/3 cup flour
- 2 cups Panko bread crumbs
- 1 egg beaten
- Olive oil
- Bullwhip Hot Sauce
- 3 Tbsp. honey
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- Pinch of black pepper
- Greens onions
- Sesame seeds
Preparations
- Add flour and bread crumbs to a bowl.
- Add 1 egg beaten and 2 Tbsp. of water to another bowl.
- Break apart the goat cheese log and roll into small balls. Dip the goat cheese balls into the egg mixture, then into the flour and bread crumbs and lay on a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place baking sheet into freezer to cool for 20 minutes.
- While the baking sheet is in the freezer prepare the Bullwhip Hot Honey sauce by whisking all four ingredients together until fully combined.
- Once the goat cheese balls are firm, heat 1-2 inches of olive oil over medium-high heat and fry the goat cheese balls for 2 minutes or until golden on all sides.
- Serve goat cheese balls on a platter, garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
- Dip or drizzle in Bullwhip Hot Honey sauce and enjoy!
