As a shampoo bar: Wet and suds the bar between your hands to work up a rich lather. Work lathered hands into hair, massaging the scalp and gently sudsing from roots to ends.
As a shave soap: Clay soaps create next-to-skin slip that makes for an extra close, moisturizing shave. Lightly wet a stiff-bristled shave brush and swirl it around vigorously on the surface of your dry bar of soap to build a stiff, thick lather. Apply thick lather to skin for a smooth as silk shave.
To keep your soap happy and sudsing for weeks, store out of direct water, in a well drained location, allowing it to dry between uses.

Have tried multiple brands of seaweed soaps with varied results. Am still getting used to cube shape which is harder for my 71 yo hands to grab as I am a "wet the bar and rub it over skin" washer. Pro for the shape is that it doesn't seem to dissolve faster in soap dish, still has "sharp edges" after 7 consecutive days. As someone who is in and out of shower in under 3 minutes, I like that the soap feels silky not slippery, rinses cleanly, and the citrusy mint like scent evaporates quickly. Don't need as much of my seaweed body oil afterwards, so that's a plus. Haven't tried as shampoo as I have shoulder length thick hair, but have a grandkid with short hair that we can experiment on this weekend.
I am obsessed with the smell of the soap. Gotta get one for my sister! Love the way my skin feels after a shower.
