Good solid heat, hearty consistency, strong umami taste, best salsa I’ve ever purchased. Pairs well as a dip or a dressing for tortilla based foods.


I couldn’t help myself; I ate the entire jar by myself in two days. Oops. This salsa has a wonderful level of heat and a subtly smoky flavor to it that made it downright addictive.

Deeply savory, perfectly hot

Everything you could want in a salsa and more. Ideal consistency for scooping. Many bold flavors represented, some familiar, some entirely novel. A thoughtfully balanced amount of heat to please spice-seekers, but encouraging enough to keep you dipping.

The Best

This is a household favorite salsa. So much so that 12 jars didn't even last a month. It is hard to put the away and not eat all in one go.
If you like spicy, this the salsa for you. One or two chips and you'll hardly notice the burn, the more you eat, the more noticeable the heat becomes. It isn't overbearing though.
The best of the salsas barnacle offers.
