Preparations

  1. Preheat a convection oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Boil 6 ears of corn for 15 minutes in salted water.
  3. Allow the corn to cool and trim the ends of each ear.
  4. To slice the corn into ribs carefully hold the corn ear against a cutting board with hands positioned on each side of a sharp knife. Once chopped in half (along the long side), slice down the middle, lay flat and slice once more lengthwise.
  5. On a baking sheet with parchment paper, arrange corn ribs and brush with our Kelp & Alaskan Amber BBQ Sauce.
  6. Season with salt and pepper and bake for 25 minutes until crispy on edges.
  7. Squeeze the juice of half a lemon over the pan and garnish with cilantro or green onions to serve.
